Pariah explores the edges of contemporary jazz through original works that shift between groove, texture and open improvisation.
Drawing influence from artists such as Stanley Clarke, Robert Glasper and Chick Corea, the band moves between tight unity and bold individual moments with ease. Made up entirely of former CJF Scholars – Seb Folvig (bass, bandleader), Aleks Folvig (guitar), Louis Monaghan (keys) and Chris McGuiness Terry (drums) – Pariah brings both deep connection and fearless energy to the stage.
