Cloud House by Claire Pendrigh

The world is made up of cycles and systems that, like the posts and beams of these houses, interlink and interlock. A finite quantity of water cycles through different forms – ocean, atmosphere, organism. 

Suspended in the houses are objects chosen for their connection to water systems. Clay dishes imprinted with crushed sea shells catch the rain. Copper pipes that used to transport water, now sprout leaves and dance in the wind. 

The Cloud Houses are an invitation for contemplation – to recognise yourself as a participant within these larger systems where nothing is static and everything is connected.
