The City of Clarence is currently accepting applications for its Cultural and Creative grants program which is specifically designed to help activate art and cultural pursuits across our city.
Whether you’re an individual artist, a community group, or a not-for-profit arts organisation, these grants are designed to back projects, programs, and events that connect people through creativity.

- Funding available: $500–$10,000

- Opens 1 July, closes 16 September
What we’re looking for
Projects that strengthen and celebrate Clarence as a gateway to Tasmanian culture.
Applications are encouraged that:
- build connected, inclusive communities
- engage and inspire participation
- promote healthy and active living
- celebrate cultural and creative activity
- contribute to a prosperous and innovative local economy
- support community safety
- champion sustainable practices
How to apply
Before applying, please read the Cultural and Creative Grant Guidelines and the General Grants Program Fact Sheet to make sure your project is eligible.
- One application per person/group is allowed per round.
- Applicants from outside Clarence are welcome but must show clear benefits to the Clarence community.
