Join artist Ange Anderson to learn the fun photographic process of making Cyanotypes. Use your imagination, specially coated paper, objects, the sun and plain water, to make beautiful blue toned images.
Participants will learn how to make Cyanotypes using objects, drawings and photographic negatives.
For ages 8-13 years $25
All materials for making the Cyanotypes are all supplied, but please:
- Put sunblock on before you arrive, and bring along a hat, as we’ll be spending time outside
- Wear an apron and covered shoes as we’ll be working with water
- Bring a drink (and a small snack in case you get hungry)
Note for parents/guardians:
Participants will be handling pre-prepared Cyanotype chemistry-coated dry paper. It is non-toxic for handling but must not be ingested. If your young person has any special requirements, please advise when booking.
