In this playful 2-hour workshop, children will explore the art of collage, transforming everyday images into bold, unexpected creations. Inspired by both contemporary and historical artists, participants will experiment with texture, composition and layering to bring their ideas to life.
From dream self-portraits to fantastical landscapes, this is a space to take creative risks, follow curiosity and make something completely unique.
No experience needed – just imagination.
All materials are provided, and each participant will leave with a finished artwork (and a fresh way of seeing the world).

About the artist:
Ange Anderson is a Hobart-based artist with a studio at Kickstart Arts. She works across cyanotype printmaking, sculpture and textiles. Her work Wintering was selected for the 2025 Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in London.
Ange loves bringing imagined ideas to life, seeing what others create, her greyhound ZigZag, and all kinds of chocolate.
