Sunday closes the festival with a laid-back energy that still delivers big musical moments. Across the afternoon the precinct settles into a relaxed groove, with artists from lutruwita/Tasmania and beyond bringing soulful sets, thoughtful collaborations and sun-soaked jazz to the Lawn Stage and The Barn. It’s an easy, welcoming day built for families, friends and anyone wanting to savour the final hours of the 30th anniversary. Good food, local drinks, generous music – and the perfect full-stop to a huge four days at Rosny Farm.

Closing Party Lineup

Green Rises (Gus Leighton Big Band) Remount

First commissioned through Hothouse in 2022, this work saw a renowned Lutruwita/Tasmanian saxophonist-composer create new music for big band and strings, inspired by growing up around Clarence Plains. In 2026 we reprise the piece with a live recording, presented in The Barn.

Clarence Composers Collective (Vol 3)

Sixteen established and emerging jazz composers come together to create new work inspired by the festival’s history, its people and connection to Country. Reflecting diverse experiences across cultures, ages and genders; nine months of development culminates in three performances across the festival.

No Man’s Band

Lutruwita’s first jazz big band just for women and gender diverse folks! This recently formed ensemble provide a welcoming, friendly and supportive place for women to come together and play repetoire ranging from classic big band swing through to blues, funk and rock.

Berimbau

Berimbau is a band specialising in Brazilian music – from samba to bossa nova, through to lesser-known choro and forró. Let Berimbau take you on a whirlwind tour through the rich musical tapestry of the tropical nation which gave birth to so many infectious rhythms and searing melodies. Saravá!

All Stars Jam Session

The festival ends with the legendary All Stars Jam, as artists from the weekend converge for an unrepeatable finale. A high-energy mix of improvisation, surprise pairings and spontaneous brilliance – musicians letting loose, audiences leaning in, and Rosny Farm closing the 30th anniversary in style.
