Portraits. But fluffier.

The Poochibald is Rosny Farm’s most beloved (and definitely most chaotic) art prize – celebrating the dogs that steal our hearts, sofas, sandwiches, and studio floor space.

The winners of the Poochibald™ Art Prize 2025 were officially announced at a packed official opening event on Friday 24 October attended by artists, families, and canine-critics from across Hobart. This year’s winning artworks impressed the judge – local artist Katy Woodroffe – with their originality, craftsmanship, and ability to capture the personality of their canine subjects – whether through fine art detail or playful expression. 

The City of Clarence is delighted to announce the winners of this year’s Poochibald™ Art Prize: 

Winner – Adult – Rachel Wolfe for Enduring

Runner up – Adult – Jan Doran for Eye on the Prize

Winner – Senior Child – Melody Zhang for Temptation

Runner up – Senior Child – Sadie Frampton for Boba Eyes

Winner – Junior Child – Lily McCarter for Cowboy Terrier

Runner up – Junior Child – Savannah Ferguson for Dogs We’d Like to Meet
