First commissioned as a Hothouse project in 2022, this work saw local saxophone and composition legend Gus Leighton create something entirely new for big band and string section — inspired by growing up around Clarence Plains.
Now in 2026, we’re proud to bring this much-loved work back to the stage and capture it live in the intimate surrounds of The Barn.
This is a bonafide Clarence story, told through big sound and fine detail.
