City of Clarence’s Cultural and Creative Grants support artists, individuals, community groups and not-for-profit organisations deliver projects that contribute to a vibrant and creative community.
Whether you’re developing a new artwork, presenting a performance, delivering a workshop, running a festival, creating a public program or exploring a new creative idea, our latest round of Cultural and Creative Grants can help turn your project into reality.
Funding of $500 to $10,000 is available for projects that activate arts and culture, encourage participation and create meaningful experiences for the Clarence community.

Who can apply?
Applications are welcome from:
- Individual artists and creatives
- Community groups
- Not-for-profit arts and cultural organisations
Applicants from outside Clarence are welcome to apply, provided they can demonstrate clear benefits for the Clarence community.
What kinds of projects are supported?
We have supported a broad range of creative and cultural projects, the sky is the limit!
Previous recipients have delivered:
- Community arts programs
- Festivals and events
- Theatre productions
- Workshops and creative learning opportunities
- Public performances
- New artistic work and creative development projects
Recent projects include Symphony of the Creatures of the Estuary, Sol Sita Latin Festival, an Intergenerational Day Spa Workshop, and the theatre production Three in a Bed.
