Celebrate astronomy, storytelling and exceptional Tasmanian food and wine beneath some of Australia’s darkest skies.

Set high above the Coal River Valley at Frogmore Creek, this special evening combines stargazing, science and a seasonal dining experience in one unforgettable event.

Begin with a glass of sparkling wine, live music and telescopes on Frogmore’s outdoor deck before settling in for a candlelit dinner curated by Head Chef Mark Burne.

Throughout the evening, hear from UTAS Senior Indigenous Scholar Theresa Sainty on the Palawa connection to the night sky and the Dark Sky movement, explore Indigenous astronomy with Wurundjeri astrophysicist Dr Kirsten Banks, and reflect on some of the biggest questions in modern astronomy with Nobel Laureate Professor Brian Schmidt.

After dinner, head outside for guided stargazing with the Astronomical Society of Tasmania.
