A new home. A summer tradition. A whole lot of mistaken identity.
Shakespeare in the Gardens has crossed the river and is making itself at home at Rosny Farm!
And what better way to kick off a new chapter than with a little chaos?
This January, John X Presents brings Shakespeare’s gloriously ridiculous A Comedy of Errors to the gardens of Rosny Farm, directed by Roger Hodgman and brought to life by a brilliant Tasmanian cast.
Two sets of identical twins. A shipwreck. Mistaken identities at every turn. And an increasingly outrageous series of misunderstandings that spiral spectacularly out of control.
It’s Shakespeare at his funniest, served up under the summer sky.
Pack a picnic, gather your favourite people and settle in for an evening of theatre, laughter, and a little bit of magic in the gardens.
Same beloved summer tradition. Brand new home.
We can’t wait to welcome you.
Door sales will be available from the main gate 45 minutes before each performance, including limited tickets for performances showing as sold out online.
